Medium-bodied with firm tannins - a little edgy (that's good!). Flavours of black cherries and subtle spices, and rich on the finish.
The addition of the Cabernets just livens it up and gives it depth. Ch Bel Air is drinking really well now and will keep for up to 10 years (Good luck with that!!).
73% Merlot, 19% Cab. Franc, 8% Cab. Sauvignon

'The medium garnet-purple colored (sic)* 2016 gives up a very fruity nose of crushed plums, kirsch and black cherry compote with hints of potpourri, tilled soil and fallen leaves. The palate is laden with juicy plums and cherry flavors (sic)* plus a pleasant chewy texture, finishing on a savory (sic)* note
Sounds like a lot going on here!
