Mácon Loché is not as well known as Lugny or Clessé amongst others, but is still home to real quality wines.
This wine from Domaine Cordier has a unique style in that it is bigger, richer and creamier than other better known Macon wines.
From the lovely white gold color with hints of silver and it’s expressive and sophisticated nose revealing peaches and a hint of candied fruits, to the citrus flavours (and a hint of honey) balanced with a touch of oak, it is rich elegant and well-balanced.
It is a beautifully balanced wine and shows up the lighter mass-produced wines of the Macon region.
