This 100% Tempranillo wine, from a single vineyard plot at about 500 metres altitude and with 60 year old vines, is a real treat.
Ruby red colour, an abundance of wild black fruits on the nose, with balsamic, liquorice and gunpowder notes.
It is round and powerful, with a creamy character (from the oak used) and black fruits, balsamic notes and abundant sweet spices throughout. Wine Advocate says 'It's modern and ripe, with a luxurious texture ....'
