With a philosophy of 'making wine is easy if you have a healthy vineyard' , Hubert Bouzereau Gruere's two daughters Marie-Anne and Marie- Laure (yes - those are their names!) took over the running of this estate 20 years ago.
Marie-Anne trained with Jacques Carillon - one of Puligny's greatest producers - and the improvements are noticeable to regular tasters.
This Puligny is not austere or relying too much on minerality - it is buttery with spices, vanilla and peach aromas. It offers rich, opulent, fresh fruits - very precise and long with the oak beautifully balanced with acidity and tension.
A lovely wine!
