Solo Roberto Pinot Bianco 2023 shows a lovely light straw yellow colour and there are dominant notes of green apples and peaches on the nose. In the mouth it is a fresh, fruity, elegant and nicely balanced wine, with those apple and peaches lingering on.
Made on gravelly (yes, same as Graves in Bordeaux!) soils in the North East of Italy (heading for Slovenia & Austria), these wines are so fresh and enjoyable, without any effort!

'It smells of broccoli flowers (seriously) and tastes like honey-drizzled roasted courgette flowers. I love it! It's a little bit green-almond skin, a little bit sorrel-leaves-in-honey, a little bit sage-and-cucumber. So Foodie!
(Lots going on there! But she loves it!)

Friuli Grave DOC is in the province of Pordenone, in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region of Italy (top right hand corner, near Slovenia & Austria!). While it isn't far from Venice, it's name derives as follows : Friuli (Julius) and Venezia Guilia (Julian Venetia', not referring to the city of Venice but to the Roman province of Venetia et Histria). So there!!!
*Solo Roberto wines are 'designed' to offer super aromatic and fruity wines which give pleasure in the mouth and on the nose, without compromising the freshness and minerality coming from the regional pedo-climatic environment; the result is clean and elegant wines. To be blunt, that means really good wines to be drunk NOW!
