This 100% Tinta Fina (Tempranillo) wine comes from vineyards with a minimum of 800 metres, with clay-limestone soils.
With a cherry red colour with garnet tones on the rim, it has an intense and complex nose of red and black fruit, liquorice and hints of spices and oak.
On the palate it is full-bodied with flavours of bitter cocoa, blackcurrants and blueberries - the ripe fruit shows throughout and leaves a lightly smokey, spicy aftertaste. It offers a lovely balance between acidity and alcohol and it finishes with lingering soft ripe tannins and good structure and length.
It is aged for 12 months in wooden barrels (of different aging) to offer us a lovely soft but rich and intense wine.
