Showing a vivid, intense cherry colour in the glass, it opens with a complex, elegant nose dominated by red and black fruit with delicate spicy touches in the background.
On the palate it immediately offers a tasty, fresh and expressive fruit filled mouthful with great balance. It is powerful and delicate throughout, with a long persistent finish with silky tannins staying on in the mouth.

This 100% Tempranillo (called Tinta Fina locally) from 20-60 year old vines at a high altitude around 900 metres, is aged in 500 litre barrels for 12 months and then refined in concrete tanks. The 2020 vintage had a higher than average rainfall, but careful control in the vineyards (the highest in each section!) to achieve the best fruit was rewarded with ideal maturity at September harvest.
