This Southern French Chardonnay first catches the eye with it's yellow/green colour then on the nose you get intense aromas of apricot and peach and on to the delightful freshness on the palate - an excellent balance between density and tension.
With just 30% aged in oak barrels, there is a touch of vanilla and hints of toast. What stands out is the freshness and balanced fruit, with a crisp long finish.
This is a lovely fresh but layered wine, great on it's own but good enough for most occasions.
